Souls for Salaries is an ongoing project that confronts the distorted facade of corporate life. It gives visual form to the emotional weight carried by those who work not out of passion, but necessity. Inspired by personal experiences and observations, this series exposes the glossy illusion sold by the city—promises of stability, success, and status—only to reveal a machine powered by manipulation, silent compliance, and crocodile smiles.
Once inside, the corporate world lures you with perks and prestige, making escape feel impossible. Step out of line, question too much, or ruffle the wrong feathers, and you’ll likely be edged out—subtly, quietly—and made to believe it was your own doing.
This exhibition invites viewers to look closer. Beneath the polish lies something unsettling. You’re asked not just to observe, but to feel, to reflect, and perhaps, to recognise these truths in your own life.

The piece above, with its sculpted acrylic textures and layers of spray paint, creates a warped, tactile surface that reflects the simmering darkness beneath the city's polished exterior—ambition curdling, loyalty quietly consumed. In contrast, the ink work below offers a closer, more intricate look at that façade. It reflects my personal experience of corporate life—something I’m working hard to leave behind. Look closely, and you might notice figures on a rooftop—climbing, escaping, or perhaps just longing to. Together, these works expose the surreal tension between the surface and what lies beneath.
I have exhibited at Brick Lane Art Gallery, Sussex Art Fair, and Roy’s Art Fair. Additionally, my work has been featured in three editions of Home and Garden magazine, and one piece was exhibited at Snape Maltings Art Gallery.
The ‘Souls for salaries’ exhibition marks my first solo show, and I would be honoured by your presence at this significant milestone.
Please join me for the opening night, for speeches, Q&A, and celebration, commencing at 6pm.
The exhibition will also include the newly developed series that acts as a continuation of this, titled 'Echoes within'. Read more here.
Hope to see you at my exhibition!
